Overview
This is Part 2 of our vitamin series. Last time, we covered fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E & K). Now we’re diving into water-soluble vitamins—the B-vitamin family and Vitamin C.
These vitamins play a huge role in energy, brain function, and immunity. In this post, I’ll explain how they work, what they do, and where to get them from food.
💧 What Are Water-Soluble Vitamins?
Water-soluble vitamins dissolve in water and are absorbed into your bloodstream. Unlike fat-soluble vitamins, your body doesn’t store them—so you need to get them daily. Any extra gets flushed out through urine.
Why They Matter:

Harder to overdose on
-
Easier to become deficient
-
Need consistent daily intake
There are nine water-soluble vitamins:
-
Eight B vitamins: B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, B12
-
Vitamin C
